The Ca Hom - Ben Ba traditional mat village in Ham Giang commune, Tra Cu district has over 300 Khmer households participating in the production. Annually, it produces more than 50 pairs of mats of all kinds. The product Hau Giang mat is a widely popular one all over the Mekong Delta market, some of which are highrank mats considered as art works. The fine-art handicraft enterprise of wood sculpture of the monks and the Khmer locals in Cave pagoda (in Chau Thanh district has been renowned for years. The products of this enterprise are original art works with the style of the Khmer’s traditional culture, serving the domestic and exportingmarkets.

The Ba So green flat rice-flake village
The Ba So green flat rice-flake village (in Nhi Truong commune, Cau Ngang district includes 60 producing Khmer households. The Com Dep Ba So (Flat green rice-flake of Ba So is made from timely and delicious glutinous rice. It is produced all year round with a large and steady output, and becomes a special cuisine supplied in the markets all over South Vietnam.

The Tra Vi ricepaper (in Nguyet Hoa commune, Chau Thanh district is made from timely traditional rice in the manual method so it has an ivory color and is very thin, delicious and flexible. The Tra Vi ricepaper has appeared in all restaurants and daily meals of the Tra Vinh people.
The Salt-making career
The Salt-making career (in Con Cu hamlet – Dan Thanh commune – Duyen Hai district has existed near Ba Dong Resort. The traditional salt is made from sea water. Con Cu’s salt is pink white, sharp and possesses a high salinity.
